JDoc365 can also refer you to the best specialists and consultants quickly and conveniently, as necessary or at your request.
Dr Walter Abelman – Medical Director
Dr Abelman qualified at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 1992 before moving to the UK. He has worked in London's leading teaching hospitals, gaining experience in general medicine, haematology, oncology and paediatrics before qualifying as a GP.
Having worked for years as a Partner GP, Dr Abelman left full-time NHS practice to build the JDoc practice, focusing on providing the best care to the local community. He retains a weekly commitment to NHS practice.
Dr Sylvia Abramov – Partner
Dr. Abramov trained in Paris and has lived in the UK since 1989. She is multilingual, speaking English and fluent French, and has worked in The Whittington and The Royal Free hospitals. She has worked in private practice for 15 years, joining JDoc365 in 2012 where she is a respected Partner.
Her clinical interests include paediatrics, childhood immunisation, preventative medicine, sexual health and gynaecology. Dr Abramov is now in residence at the PMC for JDoc365 patients and their families, Amelio Healthcare members and the local community.
Dr Ajay Bhundia
Dr Ajay Bhundia trained at Kings College Hospital in South London and is a GP principal in North West London. He has been with the JDOC team since 2011. His main special interests are cardiology and dermatology. He also holds a diploma in Dermatological Surgery. He is fluent in Gujerati, Hindi and Urdu.
He enjoys playing squash, tennis and football.
Dr Stacey Hoffman
Dr. Stacey Hoffman MBChB studied and completed her medical degree qualifying from the University of Cape Town. Having been in the UK for 6 years working as a family doctor, Dr. Hoffman is focused on women’s and children’s health. Dr. Hoffman also runs The BabyBabble, helping parents navigate the journey of parenthood, especially during the postnatal period.
BabyBabble is a one-stop place to weigh your baby, attend talks and courses, receive practical advice and answer any parenting questions you may have. It is also a fantastic place to socialise with other parents, share experiences and find support. The time and place are specifically chosen to be convenient for parents. BabyBabble aims to make parenthood fun, interesting and convenient because ‘happy parents make happy kids!’
Dr Amit Shah
Dr. Amit Shah grew up in Kenya, coming to the UK to train at Oxford Deanery. He is one of the latest GPs to join the JDoc team, having qualified with First Class Honours at Guy’s, Kings College and St. Thomas’. He is fluent in five languages and is a regular marathon runner, mountain climber and scuba diver.
Dr Ahila Yogendra
Dr. Yogendra is a Haberdashers ‘old girl’ and graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge. She has a degree in Clinical Pathology & Medical Ethics and Law, and has practiced at several GPs in residential areas. In addition to her experience in general practice, Dr. Yogendra has also worked at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, and at hospitals in Southern California, Australia, and in Trinidad & Tobago.
Dr Adam Townley
British/American and married with three children, Adam qualified from Manchester University. He worked in New Zealand and Australia, and in hospitals in the North West before becoming a GP in London. A keen cyclist and sportsman, Adam is also a GP trainer, helping to develop trainee doctors in their hospital posts.
Dr. Heschil Lewin
MD (1985) Dipl.Derm DRCOG
Multi-lingual, trained in Munich and resident in the UK since 1987, Heschil has a Diploma in Clinical Dermatology, and specialised in gynaecology and obstetrics in London before becoming a GP in 1990. He then brought his skill and experience to JDoc365, where he has been practicing since January 2015.
Dr Evan Kabir
Evan graduated from Nottingham University in 2004 and went on to train at St. Thomas' Hospital, qualifying as a GP in 2010. A keen sportsman, Evan has a particular interest in sports medicine. He has represented the English Medics in an international football tournament and is also mastering the art of golf.
Dr Deborah Peters
Deborah qualified from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 2001. She is married with two young sons. Deborah believes in treating the whole person - not just the disease - with a particular interest in children and women’s health, psychiatry - especially depression, as well as teenage sexual health.
